This website is a selected archive of my photography since 1971.
I revisited locations many times; during the 80’s within the Coigach of North West Scotland; in the 90s - and to this day - returning to particular locations on the Cornish North Coast. For the past 35 years, I have spent much extended time living in Cwm Nantcol in North Wales. The valley became my focus for a wildlife diary - published as Parallel Lives; The Edge of Wilderness - and, amongst many other images, for the featured series of fixed station photographs.

Revisited, these locations still retain the excitements of discovery. Put simply, they represent the recognition of my own internal landscapes manifest in the exterior world.

Now retired, I spent 30 years as an ecclesiastical building archaeologist, undertaking the structural and archaeological analysis of major churches and monuments in the north of England. Until recently, I was also commissioned by institutional and private clients as a woodcarver and joiner, specific to historic buildings and displays.
